The Pew Research Center report news websites now receive more unique monthly visitors from mobile devices than desktop computers. The State of the News Media 2015 found that out of 50 news organizations, 39 get more traffic to their websites from mobile users. However, unique visitors from smartphones and tablets tend to spend less time on news websites than their desktop-using counterparts.
