Jim Brady has got to be feeling pretty good these days. The newly-minted ESPN public editor and Billy Penn publisher just saw the latter startup get a $106,000 infusion from the Knight Foundation to pull together a guide to mobile storytelling tools and technologies, Knight said on Thursday. “Billy Penn will produce an interactive, real-time guide for other news organizations, local news sites and content creators on creating mobile journalism, designing mobile websites and addressing the needs of the mobile reader,” the foundation said in a release.
