Google is looking to take its Accelerated Mobile Pages beyond the publishers with which it currently works. Next to non-AMP mobile pages, “Eighty percent or more of publishers have higher viewability rates, 85 percent have higher click-through rates on ads and the majority had higher effective CPMs,” Lucia Moses reports. But the monetizing power has yet to be so magical, and on that front much of the onus falls on the publishers themselves.
