CNN is embarking on a major overhaul of its digital operations, moving them to a central role among its platforms in a move that will see upwards of 50 jobs eliminated, Eric Wemple reports. The company will also add about 200 new positions. Areas targeted for change include audience expansion and analytics, mobile product development and mobile and off-platform programming.
