Consumers in Europe are wary of how organizations use their personal data, and recent research suggests these concerns are growing. A study early this year found European consumer trust about how personal data is used falling, with social networks taking the biggest plunge. The research, reported by eMarketer, found almost 50 percent of mobile phone owners in four countries saying they trusted social networks less.
