ESPN’s Patrick Stiegman told attendees of the Online News Association’s annual conference that the sports giant has stopped thinking about the “second screen” and instead focuses on being on the closest screen available to the user. “Our point of view is that ESPN is ESPN whether it’s on television or your mobile experience or somewhere in between,” he says.
