A shift in Google’s formula arriving Tuesday will now favor websites that it defines as “mobile-friendly,” demoting those that don’t fit the description in its search results, Michael Liedtke reports. The change will have a huge influence on how and where people spend their money and likely marks the biggest change Google has made to its mobile search rankings.
