Nielsen: Traditional TV Viewing Falls As Mobile Use Increases
Linear television continues to see a decline in viewership amid a growing use of smartphones and tablets for video consumption, a Nielsen report finds. Todd Spangler reports that mobile consumption was up 60% in the first quarter of 2016 from 62 to 92 minutes per day, while live TV fell 1%, down 3 minutes on average year-over-year.
