NYT Now, The New York Times‘ troubled, slimmed down news app, will get an overhaul to its functionality and become free to users, Joe Pompeo reports. The Times‘ main news app will get “a more vibrant look and feel” itself in the coming weeks, though users will still have to open up their wallets for that one.
