Mark Lowenstein argues that the massive migration to mobile devices has tapered off, and that PCs and other large devices are far from dying. Therefore the catch phrase “mobile first” has less currency than designing for thinner devices, with apps and other content in the cloud. “The focus will be less on delivering a ‘mobile first’ experience and more on optimizing for a multiscreen experience, or the ‘screen of the moment,'” he writes.
