Some Internet companies that were vulnerable to the Heartbleed bug have put a security patch on their servers, but, as a precautionary measure have advised password changes. Mashable, in a report on company responses, says that while there’s  no guarantee information wasn’t already compromised, there’s also no indication that hackers knew about the exploit before this week.
